Fanlisting?

While most of you will probably reach this site via Animefanlistings, probably some visitors will not be so familiar with the fanlistings concept... that's why I'm leaving here a little introduction just in case (if you don't need it, either visit any of the other subsections using the sidebar menu or proceed to the join form).

Taken right from Thefanlistings.ORG (the original network),

A fanlisting is simply an online list of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are), they are just a place where you can sign up with other fans.

In other words, fanlistings are another way to express your love for something, be it building the site yourself if you have the chance to do so, or simply by joining the fanlisting for the subject if someone else has created it. Fanlistings are a little different from fan clubs, because they're not active communities: they're just what the word itself says, lists of fans, and it's not "required" for them to have any extra content - although sometimes fanlistings are part of larger fansites, and if that's not the case most owners decide to add something extra for their visitors anyway (information on the subject, a picture gallery, and so on)

To sum it up then, joining this fanlisting won't cost you anything, but you will not get anything special in return either - other than the satisfaction of being listed as a fan along with all the others, being part of a list that will be growing gradually thanks to people from all over the world. If that sounds pointless to you, please come back when the fansite part has more content ;) Otherwise, add yourself to the family!
